On May 11th, 2023, Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) did endorse new transparency and risk-management rules for AI systems. The aim of these rules is to promote a human-centric and ethical approach to AI development within Europe. These regulations are intended to ensure that AI systems are used in a manner that is transparent, accountable, and respects fundamental rights. Once approved, it will be the world’s first regulation on Artificial Intelligence.
