Biography

Keit Pentus-Rosimannus has served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia since 17 November 2014. She is a member of the Estonian Reform Party.

  • From 2011–2014, Keit Pentus-Rosimannus was the Minister of the Environment of the Republic of Estonia.
  • From 2009–2011, Keit Pentus-Rosimannus was the first Vice-President of the 11th Riigikogu. In the same composition of the Riigikogu, Pentus-Rosimannus was also the Chairperson of the Reform Party faction.
  • From 2007–2011, Keit Pentus-Rosimannus was a member of the supervisory board of Riigi Kinnisvara AS.
  • From 2005–2007, Pentus-Rosimannus worked as the Head of the Prime Minister’s Office.
  • From 2003–2005, Pentus-Rosimannus performed the duties of the Elder of Tallinn’s City-Centre District in the Tallinn City-Centre District Government.
  • Prior to this, from 2001–2003, Pentus-Rosimannus served as an Adviser to the Minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as the Ministry of Justice.
  • Born on 3 March 1976, in Tallinn, Keit Pentus-Rosimannus graduated from Private Academy Nord Gymnasium and acquired a higher education in public administration and European Union relations at Tallinn Pedagogical University.
