Session description
Join us at EuroDIG on June 9 at 15.15 for Flash Session 2 to explore the Personal Information Economy. As part of the BCS International Personal Data Challenge, we invite dialogue from EuroDIG delegates on the following questions:
- What does the personal data economy mean for the citizen?
- Research suggests that individuals are more likely to share personal data when they control their data - does this notion lead to commercial opportunities?
- Is online privacy possible? Is the "right to be forgotten" feasible?
- Are there simple ethical principles for online analytics using personal data?
There are many other compelling questions associated with this topic. Join us and have your say. Make a difference and help make IT good for society.
