Programme overview 2016

Session description

Join us at EuroDIG on June 9 at 15.15 for Flash Session 2 to explore the Personal Information Economy. As part of the BCS International Personal Data Challenge, we invite dialogue from EuroDIG delegates on the following questions:

  1. What does the personal data economy mean for the citizen?
  2. Research suggests that individuals are more likely to share personal data when they control their data - does this notion lead to commercial opportunities?
  3. Is online privacy possible? Is the "right to be forgotten" feasible?
  4. Are there simple ethical principles for online analytics using personal data?

There are many other compelling questions associated with this topic. Join us and have your say. Make a difference and help make IT good for society.
