She later joined the Internet Rights and Principles Coalition, based at the UN Internet Governance Forum, which she is currently co-chairing. She has attended several EuroDIG meetings since 2013, and has been also an active participant at the annual IGF, contributing as session organiser, speaker, and moderator. She holds a degree in Social And Cultural Communication Studies from Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon and a master's degree in Global Media and Transnational Communications from Goldsmiths, University of London. She is currently a postgraduate law student at Queen Mary University of London, specialising in Human Rights Law. She worked as a newspaper journalist and joined a book publishing company. More recently she has been working in marketing, audience engagement, and event management in the arts and higher education. She enjoys spending time outdoors, where between walks and picnics, she may be found growing a mini forest, or following a brave four-year-old’s exciting adventures in the local park.

Marina likes to read, jog, ski and travel in her free time. Last year she participated in EuroDIG in the Netherlands.

Currently, Sandro is responsible for Telecom and IoT business development at UGT, the largest IT holding in Georgia. In the 90s, he worked for the Open Society Fund in Georgia focusing on Internet and Media development. Sandro is a founder and former board member of the Internet Society Georgia Chapter, with focus on Internet Governance, connectivity IoT, ccTLD administration and Safer Internet. He participated in EuroDIG2018 in Tbilisi.

Ross Creelman

Ross is from Northern Ireland and is supporting the work on the plenary session ‘5G: the opportunities and obstacles’ at EuroDIG 2020, which will be his first time at EuroDIG! He is a public policy officer at ETNO (European Telecommunications Network Operators’ Association) based in Brussels, and focusing on issues of Internet Governance and platform regulation. When not working on telecoms policy, Ross is a keen reader of French and German literature, and he loves to travel (though not so much at the minute!).

Meri Baghdasaryan

Meri Baghdasaryan, who is the Co-Focal Point of Plenary 3. This session will be adapted to the current challenges and now has the draft title: "The European Digital Economy and COVID-19 pandemic: current state of affairs, risks, and opportunities”. " Meri Baghdasaryan is a human rights attorney from Armenia. She holds an LL.M. from CEU, and has been involved in the Internet Governance ecosystem since 2016, focusing on issues regarding data protection and privacy, freedom of speech, and youth participation. She currently is involved in the Digital[x] Working Group of CDN, she is the current Eastern European representative on the steering committee of the Youth Coalition on Internet Governance, as well as a member of programme committees in for SEEDIG 6 and YOUthDIG2020.

Minda Moreira

Minda has a Media and Communications background and an interest in human rights and Internet Governance. Based in London and originally from Lisbon, she first took an interest in Internet Governance during her master's degree studies. She later joined the Internet Rights and Principles Coalition, based at the UN Internet Governance Forum, which she is currently co-chairing. She has attended several EuroDIG meetings since 2013, and has been also an active participant at the annual IGF, contributing as session organiser, speaker, and moderator. She holds a degree in Social And Cultural Communication Studies from Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon and a master's degree in Global Media and Transnational Communications from Goldsmiths, University of London. She is currently a postgraduate law student at Queen Mary University of London, specialising in Human Rights Law. She worked as a newspaper journalist and joined a book publishing company. More recently she has been working in marketing, audience engagement, and event management in the arts and higher education. She enjoys spending time outdoors, where between walks and picnics, she may be found growing a mini forest, or following a brave four-year-old’s exciting adventures in the local park.

Anastasiya Kazakova

Anastasiya Kazakova who is the Focal Point of Workshop 2 titled “Enhancing users' confidence in cyberspace: risks and solutions”. Anastasiya Kazakova is a Public Affairs Manager at Kaspersky. In this role, Anastasiya assists in the implementation of the company’s worldwide public policy with a major focus on EU government relations, and of the Global Transparency Initiative – Kaspersky's program to enhance transparency and accountability in cybersecurity. In both these functions she is responsible for preparing and managing bases for successful cooperation and communication with national and supranational government bodies, international organizations, and both existing and potential partners, including through public-private partnerships. Anastasiya has also contributed to several studies and papers on cybersecurity issues, including on cyber norms development, coordinated vulnerability disclosure, and best practices for trustworthy software development. Anastasiya studied international relations at, and holds a master’s degree from, the Higher School of Economics, Moscow, Russia.

Galia Kondova

Galia Kondova is an economist with eight years of World Bank experience in private and financial sector structural reform projects in Central and Eastern Europe. Since 2010 Senior Lecturer and Researcher in Finance and Blockchain in Finance at the School of Business of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) in Basel researching and publishing in the area of digitalization (Blockchain, fintech) for economic growth and public empowerment.

Andrew Campling

Andrew Campling who is the Co-Focal Point of WS5 which aims to discuss the question „Should public policy priorities and requirements be included when designing Internet standards?” Andrew is based in the UK and is Director of 419 Consulting, a public policy and public affairs consultancy focused on the tech and telecoms sectors. He has nearly 40 years’ experience in the telecoms sector, including as Director of England and then Director of Public Policy and Public Affairs for Content and Services for BT Group. He has led teams covering public policy, stakeholder management, marketing, product management and product development, with significant experience working with stakeholders across the telecoms and tech sectors, including politicians at local, regional and national levels. He is an experienced conference chair, public speaker and author of responses to public consultations. He has an MBA from Cass Business School, an MSc in Strategic Marketing from Ashcroft International Business School and a post graduate diploma in marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing; he is also a Fellow of the RSA and Liveryman in the Worshipful Company of Marketors.

Desara Dushi

Desara Dushi, who is the Focal Point for Workshop 7 on “Crime and law enforcement in the digital environment”. Desara is currently working as advisor to the Minister of Justice of Albania as part of the LEAD Albania Fellowship program. She is also assistant professor at the Law Department of Epoka University. Desara holds a Double PhD Degree in Law, Science and Technology from University of Bologna and University of Luxembourg. She is specialized in criminal justice, ICT law, cybercrime, human rights, online child protection, and Internet Governance. Desara started her EuroDIG journey in 2016 and since then she has been active in various Organising Teams. She has been an ICANN Fellow twice and has also served as member of the NextGen@ICANN Selection Committee. Recently Desara has been appointed as Executive Committee Member of the South East Europe Dialogue on Internet Governance (SEEDIG).

Marina Shentsova

Marina is from the the Kyrgyz Republic and supports the work of EuroDIG on WS09 "Privacy in Europe- GDPR vs. information freedom?"as a Focal Point. She is a graduate of the law department of Moscow State University. Having worked for both public and private areas, Marina is mostly concerned of how our human rights are followed through the development of digital protection. Marina likes to read, jog, ski and travel in her free time. Last year she participated in EuroDIG in the Netherlands.

Rui André S. Esteves

Rui André is Co-Focal Point of Workshop 10 which is going to address the question „How to turn challenges into opportunities for education transformation? Rui André is an experienced ICT Teacher, with a substantial working history in various public institutions, teaching at different levels, in a public school on Madeira Island, Portugal. Rui worked as an IT Administrator in several Public entities and organisations. He holds experienced in ITIL, IT Service Management, TCP/IP Networks and Operative Systems and a first degree in Computer/ Information Administration and Management, and a Masters Degree in ITIL Framework, from Bragança's Polytechnic Institute – Portugal.

Sandro Karumidze

Sandro is based in Tbilisi, Georgia and holds degrees in Physics and Business Administration from Tbilisi State University and the University of Iowa, USA. He has been working in IT and Internet for more than 30 years, starting as a hardware engineer and programmer and moving to various business management roles. Currently, Sandro is responsible for Telecom and IoT business development at UGT, the largest IT holding in Georgia. In the 90s, he worked for the Open Society Fund in Georgia focusing on Internet and Media development. Sandro is a founder and former board member of the Internet Society Georgia Chapter, with focus on Internet Governance, connectivity IoT, ccTLD administration and Safer Internet. He participated in EuroDIG2018 in Tbilisi.
