Session teaser

Curious about who and how governs the Internet in South Eastern Europe (SEE) and the neighbouring area? So were we. Join us for this short session and we will tell you what we found out at SEEDIG 2016! Your views will be welcome, too.

Session description

The session aims to discuss the results of the second annual meeting of the South Eastern European Dialogue on Internet Governance (SEEDIG), which was held on 22 April 2016, in Belgrade, Serbia. We will start with a brief overview of the meeting and the key messages that have resulted from the discussions on Internet governance realities and challenges in SEE and neighbouring countries. And we would also want to hear your views about SEEDIG as a process, about the 2016 meeting, and about the future of the initiative. Linkages between SEEDIG and other IGF initiatives (the global IGF, EuroDIG, and national IGFs from the region) will be discussed as well.
