Lasse Heidemann, the Senior Director for Outreach at DIGITALEUROPE

Lasse Heidemann is the Senior Director for Outreach at DIGITALEUROPE. Before joining DIGITALEUROPE, he served as the Senior Director for EU and International Affairs at the Danish Chamber of Commerce for eight years. In this role, he tackled a wide array of issues including digitalization, the internal market, competitiveness, competition policy, and industrial policy, alongside numerous specific legislative matters. Heidemann is responsible for engaging with key stakeholders in Brussels, managing press relations, and representing DIGITALEUROPE in both Danish and European contexts.

Prior to his tenure at the Danish Chamber of Commerce, Heidemann worked with the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority, the Danish Ministry of Business, the Danish Business Authority, and the European Commission (then DG SANCO). He also gained private sector experience at a management consulting firm in London.

Additionally, Heidemann has been appointed to the European Commission’s Fit-4-Future platform advisory body, chaired the Committee on Internal Market, Consumer, and Digital Policy at Eurocommerce, and held various formal and informal roles. He has also been an academic guest lecturer.
