Session description

The session aims to discuss the results of the fourth annual meeting of the South Eastern European Dialogue on Internet Governance (SEEDIG), which will be held on 23-24 May 2018, in Ljubljana, Slovenia. We will start with a brief overview of the meeting and the key messages from the discussions on Internet governance realities and challenges in SEE and neighbouring countries. And we would also want to hear the views about SEEDIG as a process, about the 2018 meeting, the intersessional activities and about the future of the initiative. Linkages between SEEDIG and other IGF initiatives (the global IGF, EuroDIG, and national IGFs from the region) will be discussed as well.

Format

Brief overview of SEEDIG and the 2018 meeting, followed by open discussions with participants.
