How can European private and public stakeholders bridge the gap between the digital competences graduates are provided with by universities and those expected by companies from newcomers to the job market? New graduates and academics discuss on public and private sector inputs for the future.

Session description

Many see a gap in digital competences between what graduates get from universities and what companies expect. With a particular focus on cybersecurity skills, a new graduate with an IT background discusses with a senior academic expert in international law and cybersecurity policy.

The conversation, moderated by a PhD student, focuses on inputs provided in advance by members of the industry and the public sector.
