Session teaser

The workshop will look into the DNA of IG initiatives in Europe and will discuss about building a set of guidelines and good practices to serve existing and future initiatives.

(provisional) Session description

(To be re-edited) The session will be divided into three parts:

  1. Presenting information on IG ecosystem in Europe
  2. What is the DNA of european IG(F) initiatives.
  3. How can the european IG(F) ecosystem be strengthened and european IG(F) initiatives be empowered?

Format

Round table. (Co-)Moderators will try to engage the audience in the dialogue (through questions, mainly). The workshop will aim at high level of interaction and gathering input from the participants. The workshop will have no Key participants.

Due to the workshop format, the workshop will look for high level of interaction from the audience. The organizing team decided not to have key participants. Instead of KP, there will be resource people (tbc) in the room.

Until 15 May 2016. The reporter takes notes during the session and formulates 3 (max. 5) bullet points at the end of each session that:

  1. are summarised on a slide and presented to the audience at the end of each session
  2. relate to the particular session and to European Internet governance policy
  3. are forward looking and propose goals and activities that can be initiated after EuroDIG (recommendations)
  4. are in (rough) consensus with the audience
  5. are to be submitted to the secretariat within 48 hours after the session took place
