YOUthDIG 2021 programme
Final title of the session: Please send the final title as early as possible, latest until 20 May 2021 to wiki@eurodig.org. Do not edit the title of the page at the wiki on your own. The link to your session may otherwise disappear.
Working title: Deep dive: Platform Regulation
Platform regulation has become one of the hotly debated topics of the recent years. In December 2020, the European Commission introduced two drafts that claim to bring major changes to platform governance - Digital Services Act and Digital Markets Act. During this session, together with the key contributors, YOUthDIG participants will discuss these proposed amendments, the challenges they pose and the opportunities they present. Do these proposals strike a fair balance between human rights and freedom to conduct business? Do they contribute to enhancement of more transparent content moderation practices? What have the reactions been so far? What is the way forward?
Format
Until 20 May 2021.
Let participants know here what format you want to do.
