Michael J. Oghia is a Belgrade-based consultant, editor, researcher, speaker, and ICT sustainability advocate working within the digital policy & infrastructure, Internet governance, and media development ecosystems. He is a Full Member of the EuroDIG Support Organisation.

Additionally, he served as a member of the 2018 YOUthDIG programme committee, acted as the youth focal point for cybersecurity during his fellowship to 2017 YOUthDIG, and participated in the 2016 New Media Summer School as a fellow.

He also assembled a guide on how to get involved in Internet governance addressed to youth and young professionals that is hosted on the EuroDIG wiki.

Michael is a third culture kid (TCK) and a connector at heart with more than a decade of professional experience in conflict resolution, development, journalism & media, policy, and stakeholder engagement across five countries: The United States, Lebanon, India, Turkey, and Serbia.
