YOUthDIG 2022, main programme
Big-tech ecosystems have spurred market concentration of digital economy. But what are the causes and implications of Platformization? In this session, a field expert or a Scholar will illustrate how behavioural advertising can be both cause and consequence of huge market power, as well as the trade-off between data protection and data economy.
This session is a lecture, where the speaker will help unravel key issues on data economy. The session will be framed by polls to understand the participants’ orientation to address critical matters, such as the dilemma between privacy and service efficiency, the inclination to use diverse digital services or to enter new digital ecosystems.
