EuroDIG

The Pan-European Dialogue on Internet Governance (EuroDIG) is an open platform for informal, inclusive and bottom up discussions on public policy issues related to the Internet. The aim of EuroDIG is to foster the engagement of Europeans in a multistakeholder dialogue in order to share their expertise and best practices and, where possible, identify common ground. It brings together national perspectives and applies and shapes European values. It is the place to initiate discussions – not necessarily to finalise them – and therefore a decision shaping not a decision making initiative.

The year-round process culminates in an annual event.

Organisation

EuroDIG is organised in a bottom-up manner. The programme is created by all stakeholders comprising a considerable number of representatives from civil society, the business sector, the technical and academic community as well as European governments, institutions and organisations. The programme planning process and the organisation of the annual EuroDIG event is facilitated by the secretariat of the EuroDIG Support Association. They also handle all association matters i.e. administrative oversight, governance and budgetary matters.
