EuroDIG 2022 – Set the sails right
(as of 3 February 2022)

A new approach to programme planning:

On February 8, the EuroDIG community is called to join the 2022 public planning meeting.

In our longstanding tradition of open, collaborative programme building, this meeting at the beginning of the year is an opportunity to systematically review the submissions to the Call for Issues and discuss the first draft programme. While these objectives remain, the Subject Matter Experts and Secretariat are going to adapt the approach. Traditionally, the programme had been structured according to eight categories. As Internet governance and surrounding discussions become more complex, this system reaches its limits.

Therefore, our Subject Matter Experts are going to suggest Focus Areas, in which relevant questions can be addressed from different perspectives. The Focus Areas and draft structure will be presented and discussed in the morning session. If you can, we encourage you to join from 10:30-13:00 CET with the option to continue the conversation in the afternoon session if need be. A recording of the meeting will be made available.
