Biographical Information

Nicola Frank

Nicola Frank joined the European Broadcasting Union in 1998. In March 2020 she became the EBU’s Head of Institutional and International Relations, after having represented the EBU and Public Service Media at EU level, as Head of the EBU’s Policy office in Brussels from 2009 to 2020.

She started her career in the European Commission in 1990 where she was responsible for an Information and Communication Programme towards the Mediterranean and the Near and Middle East. In 1996 she joined Media and Entertainment International, the international federation of media and entertainment trade unions, as Deputy General Secretary.

Nicola Frank was born in 1963. She took an M.A. in Islamic Studies, Modern History and French Literature.

Olga Kyryliuk

Olga Kyryliuk works as a Digital Rights Coordinator for Greater Internet Freedom Project at Internews. She has a PhD in International Law and over 10 years of experience in the field of digital rights and Internet governance. Prior to joining Internews, she worked as a Program Manager at the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative in charge of the regional Internet freedom advocacy program in South-Eastern Europe. She is also a Chair of SEEDIG – South Eastern European Dialogue on Internet Governance and Europe Representative at Executive Committee of Non-Commercial Users Constituency (NCUC) at Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). Olga provides consultancy and expert support to Freedom House, Council of Europe and a range of international companies working worldwide. She also dedicated four years to work in leading humanitarian organizations, including International Committee of the Red Cross and Danish Refugee Council, dealing with the provision of legal support to internally displaced persons in Ukraine.
