Session description
Since EuroDIG 2016 and the Hot Topic - Right to be forgotten or to rewrite history this Flash session will attempt to track what has happened next.
This is an excellent opportunity to discuss what has happened in a year, especially the recent news in March 2017, of New York senator Tony Avella and assemblyman David Weprin introducing a bill proposing that individuals be allowed to require search engines and online speakers to remove information that is "inaccurate", "irrelevant", "inadequate", or "excessive", that is "no longer material to current public debate or discourse" and is causing demonstrable harm to the subject.
