Ieva Žilionienė is a distinguished expert in state digitalization policy and strategy with a wealth of experience in national and global GovTech trends. She has played a pivotal role in shaping Lithuania's information society and e-governance strategies while managing EU structural funds for public ICT as part of her work with the Lithuanian Government's Information Society Development Committee.
In her tenure as the Director of Strategy and later Deputy Director General at Lithuania's Communications Regulation Authority, Žilionienė coordinated the regulation of electronic communications, postal services, and digital trust services. Currently, she leads the consulting branch of NRD Companies, an international group that specializes in developing digital solutions for governments worldwide.
Žilionienė has actively contributed to various international groups and initiatives. She serves as Lithuania’s national expert and is a member of the Board of Directors for the World Summit Awards, where she promotes UN Sustainable Development Goals through digital innovations.
