TACCU (Tampere Accessibility Unit) is a multidisciplinary unit conducting accessibility-related research and education at the Tampere Universities. Session description

In the session, we will briefly introduce accessibility, legislation, and policies, especially focusing on how the EU Accessibility Directive is affecting now and in the future. We highlight digital accessibility to initiate discussions about the Internet and accessibility. Also, we want to point out new skills that accessibility education can offer to meet future requirements and how to prepare future professionals who strive to create a digital world accessible to all.
