YOUthDIG 2026 programme

Session teaser

This session explores the shifting landscape of the "Automated State," where artificial intelligence increasingly supports or replaces human decision‑making in critical sectors ranging from public administration and social benefits to recruitment and the legal system. Participants will be presented with real‑world cases where AI systems have raised concerns about transparency, algorithmic bias, and discrimination.

Format

An interactive three-part workshop beginning with a movement-based exercise to surface ethical perspectives, followed by a visual presentation of concrete case studies and legal frameworks, and concluding with a "fishbowl" negotiation simulation.
