Patrícia Alexandra Martinho Correia da Silva Gonçalves is a distinguished economist who currently serves as a Board Member at the Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações (ANACOM), Portugal's national regulatory authority. She holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

Patrícia began her professional journey at Banco de Portugal, where she held various significant roles, including Unit Coordinator for National Financial Accounts Statistics and Balance of Payments and International Investment Position Statistics. Additionally, she served as an Economist in the Department of Economic Studies, focusing on the Portuguese economy and monetary policy. Between 2013 and 2021, Patrícia was a consultant to the Technical Budget Support Unit at the Assembleia da República (Assembly of the Republic).

In academia, Patrícia has made substantial contributions. She was an Assistant at the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics from 2009 to 2013. Before that, she served as a Visiting Assistant Professor and Assistant at the Faculty of Economics at Universidade Nova de Lisboa from 1998 to 2009.
