Session teaser

This session marks the transition from learning to action in the YOUthDIG journey. It includes an introduction to the YOUthDIG Messages, followed by a discussion on how participants can continue engaging in the Internet Governance ecosystem.

Bringing together voices from different stakeholder groups and organisations, the session will focus on concrete pathways into Internet Governance, highlighting opportunities, entry points, and practical next steps.

Participants will gain a clearer understanding of how to move from interest to active participation across policy, technical, academic, and community spaces.

Format

The session is divided into two parts:

  • YOUthDIG Messages (60 minutes): Facilitated by the YOUthDIG Coordinator, this segment focuses on the consolidation and alignment of participant messages.
  • Pathways into Internet Governance (60 minutes): A moderated discussion with invited speakers representing different parts of the Internet Governance ecosystem.

Each speaker will provide a short (5–10 minute) focused input addressing:

  • Entry points into their respective communities
  • Available opportunities and programmes
  • Gaps and underrepresented profiles
  • Practical steps for newcomers

The session will conclude with an interactive discussion, allowing participants to reflect on their next steps and engage directly with speakers.
